  1. The purpose of this tool is to enable you to mail your 83(b) election to the IRS without visiting the post office and to obtain the IRS date-stamped copy of your filing.  We are not acting as your agent in any capacity.  No part of this tool may be interpreted as legal or tax advice.
  2. You are responsible for determining whether you need to make an 83(b) election.
  3. You are responsible for determining whether you should make an 83(b) election.
  4. You are responsible for accurately filling in your 83(b) election, even if AI-generated responses are provided.  Any pre-filled text is simply a suggestion for your consideration.
  5. You authorize us to mail your filled in and signed 83(b) election on your behalf, including through a third-party vendor.  The sender of the mail will be “Corpora, Inc., on behalf of [your name]”, listing our mailing address as the return address.
  6. You authorize us to receive and access the IRS date-stamped copy of your filing on your behalf at our mailing address.
  7. You acknowledge and agree that you will use this tool exclusively for the purpose for which it is provided, in good faith.
  8. We reserve the right, in our sole and absolute discretion, to reject mailing your submission.  We will inform you within seven business days in such case.  We will refund your payment, unless we determine that you did not use the tool in good faith, in which case your payment will not be refunded.
  9. You acknowledge that once you hit “submit”, you cannot make any changes to your 83(b) election.
  10. We will not accept submissions later than 15 days after the date of transfer of your stock.
  11. You (and your spouse, if applicable) will have two days to sign the 83(b) election, after which the draft will be voided and you will have to start all over again.  Your payment will be refunded.
  12. Our service is provided as is and as available.  We are not responsible for matters beyond our control, such as lost mail.
  13. Our paid service exclusively covers: (i) mailing your filled in and signed cover letter, 83(b) election form (in two copies), and a postage-paid return envelope to the IRS; (ii) providing you with proof of mailing and the USPS tracking number; and (iii) providing you with the IRS date-stamped copy of your filing (if received).
  14. We will use the address you’ve included in your 83(b) election to determine the IRS address where your form should be mailed.
  15. Your use of this tool remains subject to Corpora’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
