Important Changes to 83(b) Election Service, starting April 20, 2026

Effective April 20, 2026, we will be making a few important changes to our 83(b) Election Service:

🔹 FedEx 2Day
Users will be able to file their 83(b) election via FedEx 2Day, which is an IRS-designated private delivery service. We will no longer be supporting 83(b) election filings via USPS Certified Mail.

🔹 14-day cutoff
Users will have 14 calendar days from the date of transfer of their property to use our product to file their 83(b) election, instead of the current 21 calendar days. The cutoff time is 11:59pm UTC on the 14th day.

🔹 Removing option to include spouse
Users will no longer be able to include their spouse on their 83(b) election.

🔹 Scanned copies only
Users will no longer be able to request the physical copy of their documents to be shipped to them. Where relevant, only scanned copies will be made available, and physical copies will be shredded.

🔹 Orders placed through portal
Users will be able to place an order by signing up or logging into the application portal at 83b.corpora.us. The guest checkout option at 83b.corpora.us/file83b will no longer be available.

These are the primary changes to our product, implemented in large part to ensure a more streamlined experience. Other changes may also be implemented. Our updated terms will be available on our website on April 20, 2026, including at 83b.corpora.us/83b-terms.
